Autumn in Rettendon is colourful. There are lots of brown and gold colours. Before the rain came this week I spent some time in the Churchyard and at the top of church chase collecting images.
Leaves have fallen across the path and the grass at the entrance to the churchyard. The large shadow is from an out of shot yew tree that is invading the pathway 
Through the gate looking down Church Chase the trees are turning golden, though quite a few of the leaves are down

Looking west from the churchyard there is quite a view. As they turn golden, the two lines of bushes hide the new A130 
Lots of greenery here. The tree again frames the image as we look over the hedge and down the field 
This older image has the lovely arch of the tree framing the image, looking down to the new A130. The corner of the fence and the gravestones add interest 
The afternoon sun catches the warm colour of the brickwork on this house and the shade and sunlight make a dappled effect upon the ground where the leaves add colour

People were sitting in the churchyard admiring the view looking over the A130. Autumn in Rettendon Churchyard is a peaceful and colourful time. There are lots of brown and gold colours.
