Hyde Hall Gallery 5

Hyde Hall Gallery 5 is a collection of images captured in late May 2019 on a slightly breezy sunny afternoon. I walked round the garden in a different sequence. Normally, I arrive at the garden when it opens in the morning to capture images without other folk in the way. This visit was in the afternoon. As a result, it meant that the sun had moved round to a different angle and gave different opportunities. The images in the slide show include:

•  Purple alliums set in front of a pastiche of out of focus bank of daisies
•  Yellow roses in the rose garden.
•  Two images from the dry garden. Californian poppies and a compact purple aster. Both images are captured above beach like lovely coloured pebbles
•  A white Iris caught my eye because the flower makes a circle with a hole in the middle. Like a polo?
•  A restful image was captured from a bench on the far side of the lower pond. The view looks directly across the pond to the other bank. Most noteworthy here we find different diagonal lines across the image created by the path and the beds.
• The Monet style bridge is a feature in a second image, also captured from the bench. The bridge appears behind the bending branch of the tree.
