Compass Exhibitions. Since being formed in 2016 Compass Photography Group has taken part in a number of Exhibitions. In 2016 we exhibited at the Chelmsford Gallery (the main library in the centre of Chelmsford).

In 2017 exhibitions occurred at the Forum in Southend, Rayleigh Windmill and the Rochford Art Trail. We also ran a photography competition at the Salvation Army in Wickford.

Exhibitions in 2018 took place at Rayleigh Windmill again, Woodham Ferrers Church and again a competition was run for the Salvation Army in Wickford. Additionally, Mike exhibited at Chelmsford Museum.

2019 was a busy year for Compass exhibitions. Rayleigh Windmill featured again and also the Mill Hall at Rayleigh. A competition was run at the Church at Woodham Ferrers and the Terry Joyce’s aerial images of South Woodham Ferrers were displayed at the library in South Woodham Ferrers. Finally in November until the end of the year images were displayed at Farley Hospice, north of Chelmsford. Additionally we exhibited at Rochford Art Trail and ran a seminar as part of the event on ‘Composition in Photography’

In 2019 Mike also became the official photographer for Rayleigh Museum and captured images when the Lord Lieutenant of Essex visited the museum

In 2020 the planned events at Rayleigh, Rochford and the Brentwood Art trail were cancelled due to the pandemic. There was however a virtual exhibition at Rayleigh Windmill
