The Amazon Water Lily Pavilion

In our different galleries we include a number of images of flowers in gardens and different places.

The Amazon Water Lily Pavilion in the Botanic Gardens at Adelaide, Australia, is the site of these images. The first image is of Nymphaea caeruleaI with its whitish blue petals and bright centre contrasting with the dark water behind it. For the second image, I had waited for a quite few minutes hoping the crowd would clear to capture the reflections of the Victoria Amazonia without people. However, I couldn’t ask them to move and so they are included too.
