From the coast to the Captial
There are some really great places to go in Essex. Many people limit there thinking of Essex to areas like Dagenham, Thurrock and Southend. Our county goes “from the coast to the capital”. From the North Sea in the east to London in the west. The Thames is at the south and Suffolk is north of us.
Essex is a county full of historic towns and sites, nice views, peaceful estuaries and the sea which surrounds a good part of the county. There are gardens to wander round at Hyde Hall and Marks Hall. Have a look at the images we have collected and currently display on our gallery pages below. Some of the places we feature are on the tourist track, whilst others are definitely off that beaten track. One of our photography expeditions was a trip on the river Mersea. This was at sunset on the 31st October and delivered some marvellous images
