Night time in Paris is a magical place. Known as the city of light and it lives up to its name. Some of the locations have too much light. These images were captured in August 2019 .

It seemed to take ages to go dark when I was standing at the Palais du Chaillot looking at the Eiffel tower. The lights on the tower came on and lit up the scene nicely

It is like daytime on the Camps Elysees because there are so many lights. I experimented with light trails and different settings but the amount of light spoilt the images of the Arc De Triomphe and the ones looking towards the Place de la Concorde.

Moving from towards the Ponte St Michel on metro line 1 I witnessed the theft of a mobile phone and a very upset young Parisienne. As I changed to line 4 others on the train comforted her.

The Pont Saint Michel is my favourite venue night time in Paris. Many times I have stood on the bridge and looked at the Seine. Notre Dame is now a ruin. The bateaux Mouche ply their trade along the river. The images presented show the Pont Neuf, people sitting by the river and the buildings along the river
